1. Application and Initial Enquiry

2. Application Review and Proposal

We review the application to confirm that certification requirements are defined, differences are resolved, and Emobility has the scope, competence, time, and resources needed to perform the certification activities.

3. Audit Programme and Planning

We establish an audit programme and plan the audit team, duration, sites, objectives, criteria, and scope appropriate to the organization and the applicable certification requirements.

4. Stage 1 Audit

We review management-system readiness, key documented information, site-specific conditions, scope, processes, objectives, internal audits, management review, and preparedness for the Stage 2 audit.

5. Stage 2 Certification Audit

We evaluate implementation and effectiveness through objective evidence, including process performance, operational controls, legal and other applicable requirements, internal audits, management review, and continual improvement.

6. Findings and Corrective Action

We report audit findings clearly. Where nonconformities are identified, the organization must submit appropriate corrections and corrective actions, with evidence reviewed as required before a certification decision.

7. Independent Review and Certification Decision

Competent personnel who were not involved in the audit independently review the audit information and decide whether certification may be granted. The certificate identifies the certified organization, applicable standard, locations, and approved scope.

8. Surveillance and Recertification

After certification, we conduct surveillance audits at planned intervals and a recertification audit before the certification cycle expires. Special audits may also be conducted to address scope changes, significant events, complaints, suspension, or restoration.
